Kaushal is a Certified Energy Manager with a Master of Engineering Leadership in Clean Energy Engineering from UBC and a LEED Green Associate credential. He works at the intersection of engineering, project management and finance, and has published case study work on deep retrofit and fuel switch projects for existing commercial buildings. He is also certified in financial modelling and analysis, which allows him to connect technical measures to the business case behind them.

At BES Kaushal works across every phase of the energy project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and stakeholder engagement through construction and post-commissioning monitoring, using data analytics and monitoring to keep projects and stakeholders on track.
