About
Claire is an engineering professional with experience spanning mechanical engineering, energy systems and building decarbonization. She is a graduate of the UBC Master of Engineering Leadership programme in Clean Energy Engineering, combining technical expertise with project management. Her recent work includes a life cycle assessment of embodied carbon in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as a UBC SEEDS sustainability research assistant, and a study of heat pump performance in Part 9 residential homes as a Sustainability Scholar with the Township of Langley.
At BES Claire conducts energy analysis and develops data-driven solutions to improve building energy performance, coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineers and supporting measurement and verification to confirm that energy and emissions reduction targets are met.
