Rory holds a master's in mechanical engineering and several years of experience in the field. He has prior experience as a process engineer working for a leading semiconductor manufacturing company, where he honed his skills in process optimization and environmental compliance, and he excels in finding innovative solutions that balance economic viability with environmental responsibility.
At BES Rory leads and mentors the energy specialist team, directing the delivery of complex energy studies, utility incentive applications and decarbonization initiatives. He conducts ASHRAE Level 1 and Level 2 energy audits, identifies energy conservation measures and develops retrofit strategies that reduce operating costs and carbon emissions across commercial, institutional and industrial facilities, and has become a trusted specialist in our sustainability implementation operations.
